Our Money Matters

FINANCIAL WELLNESS

Our Money Matters is one of the initiatives of the non-profit HBCU Community Development Action Coalition (CDAC) and is funded by a grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation. The financial literacy platform was launched almost three years ago with the intention of increasing the financial acumen of HBCU students, residents of communities surrounding campuses as well as to engage other organizations to help expand the reach of the program. Ultimately, the goal of Our Money Matters is to decrease the racial wealth gap and increase economic inclusion.

With a grant from Wells Fargo, Tangelo Media developed their visual brand and messaging including logo design, website production and design and branding of social media channels. Tangelo then developed marketing materials that included brochures, signage, one-sheets, Tiktok ads and directed and produced an informational video. We provide ongoing support in social media and original content development and will be developing an updated website that reflects branding changes of the parent organization. In addition, we provide consultation and branding support for their annual Campus and Coins event held in multiple locations around the country in order to engage more students at participating HBCUs.
